| The Board
1) organises the Association’s activities with a view to achieving the objectives laid down in the Statutes; 2) ensures the implementation of the resolutions taken by the General Assembly and the Council; 3) submits for the approval by the Council the draft budget and the budget execution report; 4) submits motions for resolving the issues on the agenda of the Council and the General Assembly; 5) reviews and submits to the General Assembly motions to amend or supplement the Statutes of the Association or motions to reorganise the Association; 6) keeps a record of the members; 7) organises accounting; 8) reviews the Audit Committee’s report to be submitted to the General Assembly and design measures for rectifying deficiencies should there be any; 9) submits the annual report for the approval by the General Assembly; 10) organises the execution of the Association’s budget and use of the Association’s assets; 11) makes decisions about entering into contracts; 12) forms, according to need, working groups, approves the representatives participating in committees, working groups and other bodies, also representatives participating in associations, societies and unions; 13) appoints to and releases from office the executive director of the Association; 14) approves the guidelines for the operation of the Bureau laying down the basic principles of the organisation of work; 15) pursues other activities necessary for the achievement of the Association’s objectives; 16) informs the public about the objectives and activities of the Association. |
